1. Over a month ago, Blake asked Jim about what Dawson had just said on the air. Jim admitted when Dawson was talking, he was doing something else. Jim asked Ryan what Dawson had said, and Ryan said he was tuned out checking the internet for good stock buys. I decided, if we couldn't focus on what Dawson was saying, then we should save his wonderful insight for our friends on the FM.
2. We know what he's going to say, so why not let the next person talk
3. Dawson is a great person, but his phone calls lead to people calling about Dawson. We just don't do that kind of show. Thank goodness you are different from the FM show. That is why I listen to you guys!
It is amazing that a large segment of the population wants to engage in what I would call junior high school behavior (i.e., name calling, derogatory remarks, etc.) as is found on the FM show.

That's one of the reasons I love this show (and get frustrated by the 'other' show.) On that show it's the same people saying the same thing about the same topic every single day. It's the ultimate rerun and I'm amazed (and saddened) by the fact that so many people find that entertaining. They could seriously just put on a show from 2003 and nobody would know the difference.
You guys have your regular callers too, but it's not about the callers or their egos, it's about the content. As a listener, I appreciate that.
